1. Introduction

Trucks on Demand Inc. (“Trucks on Demand Inc.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an auto & freight management platform that connects shippers, carriers, brokers, and drivers, available through our website and our mobile application (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Account information: your name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo, and the role you sign up as (shipper, carrier, broker, or driver).
  • Business & profile details: company name, business address, tax identification (such as W-9), MC/DOT authority, and insurance information used to verify and operate on the platform.
  • Driver credentials: commercial driver’s license (CDL) number and class, license expiration, medical certificate, TWIC number, hours-of-service status, and contact numbers.
  • Load & transaction data: loads you post or book, bids and offers, rate confirmations, invoices, payment details, saved pickup/delivery locations, and vehicle/VIN information.
  • Documents & images: files and photos you upload, including bills of lading (BOL), proof of delivery (POD), signatures, and compliance documents.
  • Support communications: messages, attachments, and information you share when you contact support or open a ticket.

Information collected automatically

  • Location information: precise GPS location from the mobile app, including in the background while you are hauling an active load (see Section 4).
  • Device & usage data: device type and platform, app version, push notification tokens, log data, and how you interact with the Services.

Camera and photo library

With your permission, the mobile app accesses your camera and photo library so you can capture and upload proof of pickup and delivery, bills of lading, and other documents. We only access photos you choose to upload.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account and verify your identity, credentials, and compliance status.
  • Operate the auto & freight marketplace — matching loads, facilitating bids and bookings, generating rate confirmations and invoices, and processing payments.
  • Provide real-time GPS tracking of active shipments to the relevant shippers, brokers, and dispatchers.
  • Send transactional and operational notifications, including push notifications, about loads, bids, documents, and support.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Services, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. Location Information

Location tracking is central to how the platform coordinates auto & freight. When you are assigned to or driving an active load, the mobile app collects your device’s precise location — including while the app is in the background — so that shippers, brokers, and dispatchers can see shipment progress and estimated arrival times.

You control location access through your device’s system settings and the app’s permission prompts. If you disable location access, real-time tracking and related features will not function. We collect background location only to support active-load tracking and do not use it for advertising.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Services:

  • With other platform participants: to complete a transaction, relevant details are shared between the counterparties to a load — for example, a carrier’s and driver’s information and live location are visible to the shipper or broker on that load, and load details are shared with carriers and drivers.
  • With service providers: vendors that host our infrastructure, deliver push notifications, provide mapping, and support similar functions (see Section 6).
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Trucks on Demand Inc., our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

The Services rely on trusted third parties that process certain data on our behalf, including:

  • Google Maps Platform — mapping, geocoding, and navigation.
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering push notifications.
  • Cloud hosting and database providers — running our application and storing data.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy for information about how Google processes data from Maps and Firebase.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. We may retain certain records — such as transaction, invoice, and compliance documents — for longer where required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure credential storage on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & correction: you can view and update most account and profile information directly in the app or by contacting us.
  • Location: you can enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings.
  • Push notifications: you can turn off notifications in your device settings.
  • Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data (see Section 10).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@trucksondemandinc.com.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time. To do so, use the account deletion option in the app where available, or email us at privacy@trucksondemandinc.com from the address associated with your account. We will process your request within a reasonable time. We may retain limited information as required for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, after which it will be deleted or anonymized.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business use by individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
